Our school has won wide acclaim across the public education system. We have received the prestigious Director General's Award for our work in both literacy and parent participation and our students have won state and national visual literacy (film making) awards. The Vinson Inquiry into public education identified our improved HSC results and approach to teacher training and development as programs of excellence.
Our motto : 'A Time to Build' defines our purpose. We create a school environment where students achieve academic success, develop social awareness and build self esteem. To broaden the learning process, students participate in an extensive range of extra curricula experiences. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that students develop knowledge, skills, attitudes and values which will help them become responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to Australian society.
