Geography develops in students the skills to investigate the world and its people in order to make sense of a complex and changing world. Students are encouraged to develop a balanced view of issues and an understanding of their role as citizens.

Active research methods involving fieldwork are an important part of this course. Students are encouraged to develop the skills to design and implement individual research projects and to communicate their findings.

In Year 7 and 8 students study Global Geography while the year 9 and 10 course concerns Australian Geography.
