This is a 2 Unit Category B VET course.

Retail Operations is a vocational course for students who wish to work in the retail industry either as a long term career or in a part time capacity. It is an excellent basis for students who want to work at managerial level and undertake further studies in this area after leaving school.

Students assessed as competent in units of Competency in Phase A will be eligible for the ACQ Certificate 1 in Retail and may obtain recognition for further tertiary studies in retail.

• Communication and effective work skills in retail
• Safe workplace practices
• Stock control procedures and point of sale techniques
• Customer service skills.
